Day 9 (of the shoot I'm on) in India
My boom operator bought me an ice cream by India Gate when we were on lunch. When I went to try to find a trash can for the wrapper, he told me to just throw it on the ground. I protested, so he made me give it to him, then he threw it on the ground. My utility informed me, “this is India.”

I've been doing night shoots all week
so I’m on a night schedule, and even though I got back to the city at 2:15AM, I am hanging out and can’t sleep.

I found the director’s sister’s flip video camera in the couch and Adrian and I watched the videos on it: all drunken, cinco de mayo, teenage debauchery. I’m tempted to save one to my computer. The videos are sadly stereotypical, but hilarious.

The steadicam shot that took 8 hours. As the steadicam op moves forward, people have to duck and pull their chairs out of the way so he can get by. Also, the table at the end had to be pulled out of the way and an apple box placed down so the op could step on it.
